single particle combustion

I am student of mechanical engineering (MS) in Iran Univ. of Science and Tech. and my MS thesis is about tne numerical simulation of single particle combustion, so I want to know that: IS it possible to simulate the single particle combustion in fluent?

Hi Masoud I saw your message in these on cfd-online forum.I am not quite sure what sort of problem do you have regarding the single particle modeling.Could you plaese explain it clearly?I am working on my my project Here at umist on spray combustion modeling for a gas turbine burner.Although there are many facilities given by the sofware ,there are many complexities associated as well. One of those can be mentioned in the staedy state casees after a certain number of Iteration you could see the total number of particles are not equal to the total number of fuel or whatever that comes through nozzle. If you solve your problem plaese let me know. Thanks Ehsan Alborzi
