face temperature gradient

Default face temperature gradient

Hi , can some body help me please , I want to get temperature gradiant dT/dx on the wall(edge ) of 2D model in which ,this wall coincide with X axis ....

-I can not use C_T_G because this macro can only be used for CELL not for FACE .....

please can anybody give me help on this question?

you can access face temperature information using UDF. thank you for your direction about free surface problem. but my question is single liquid(melting metal),and there is a large temperature gradiant.there is air over it .but if i spedified it as wall,i wonder it is right? may i know your e-mail address?
