face temperature gradient

Hi , can some body help me please , I want to get temperature gradiant dT/dx on the wall(edge ) of 2D model in which ,this wall coincide with X axis ....
-I can not use C_T_G because this macro can only be used for CELL not for FACE ..... please can anybody give me help on this question? thanks |

you can access face temperature information using UDF. thank you for your direction about free surface problem. but my question is single liquid(melting metal),and there is a large temperature gradiant.there is air over it .but if i spedified it as wall,i wonder it is right? may i know your e-mail address?
