Does anyone know how to change the default home directory and working directory in Gambit? I read the Gambit help manual,it is said it can be changed in Edit->default->Global, but I cannot find how. Thanks! Frank

Hi Frank

You need to go to the Edit menu at the top of the Gambit window, then select Defaults. This should open a smaller window where you should be able to select a tab labelled Global and then choose the General option. The working directory is under the default variable named GAMBITSCR, select this and then enter the path for your directory in the box labelled value below. Finally, click on Modify and the directory should be set.

if u r in windows one way to do is create a short cut and in that short cut specify the workign dir, gambti will start for that dir.
