I'm using the k-omega SST turbulence model. How do you get values for the 'model constants'? ie:
alpha*_inf alpha_inf beta*_inf beta_i R_beta Zeta* Mt0 TKE Prandtl Number TDR Prandtl Number I apologise if this is in help but I don't have access to help at university for some reason. Thanks, -- Mark |

That you're not sure what values of those model constants to use means that you should rely upon the default values in FLUENT.

Hi,
there is an equation to calculate the Epsilon and omega and it is there in the Fluent Help/manual. If you are not able to access it at the Univ. just type search for Fluent help in Google and you will definitely find a link to that website, the only problem might be that the link will point to Fluent 5.1 instead of 6.1, in any case you will be able to get some help. Hope this helps. Aravind |
