HI, I am new for Fluent, and I am using UDF for a reaction kinetics. When I tried to use Define---User Defined---Functions--complied after I "ADD" source file, when I click "Build" I got following message:

================== The system cannot find the file specified.

1 file(s) copied. (system "move user_nt.udf libudf\ntx86\2d")0 (system "copy S:\CAEN\FLUENT6122\fluent6.1.22\src\makefile_nt.ud f libudf\ntx86\2d\makefile") 1 file(s) copied. 0 (chdir "libudf")() (chdir "ntx86\2d")() 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Done.

======================================

When I click Load: message was as follows:

========= Opening library "libudf"... Error: open_udf_library: The system cannot find the file specified.

Error Object: () =======================

What were wrong? Could anyone help me?

Thanks a lot!

Jianli

Hi, Luca,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am using WindowsXP with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003. How could I set path to run compiling correctly in Fluent?

I could not run Fluent when work in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Command Prompt windows. 'Fluent' is not recognized as an interal or external command......

Have a nice day!

Try to search in the forum for other people having your same problem. I had your same problem with MS Visual Studio. I solved it by typing in a MS-DOS windows (in the directory c:\programs\visualstudio\vc98\bin VCVARS32 and then launching Fluent. It should works for you too. Otherwise you can reinstall MS Visual Studio and select the environment variables during the installation. Hope it helps. Luca
