What does prePDF?

Hello,

can anyone explain me, what calculation exactly prePDF does, when it calculates the look-up-tables ? When I study the manual, I only get explanations what inputs in which dialogs I have to do.

I would also like to know, how fluent uses these tables, when it simulates a reaction in a cell.

The fluent manual has a wonderful example (non-premixed combustion), but conceals interesting details.

Thx, Simon Steinmeyer
