On the far field boundary conditions.

During the simulation, I need to use the far field boundary conditions, i.e. free boundary conditions for the incompressible ideal gas, but in the Fluent, the pressure far field boundary conditions is only for the compressible ideal gas, so, I don¡¯t know what I should do. Help, please. Thanks.

you're gonna get some reverse flow. so place the pressure outlets as far as you can.

Use Pressure Far-field and set your gas to Ideal gas regardless.

If you suspect your flow mach number is low enough to avoid compressibility effects (Ma <0.3), you should still get the same solution even though you use the ideal gas/Pressure far field.
