Hello guys,

I am trying to simulate flow over E423 airfoil in Fluent. I have tried to use 2 meshes, one with y+ value greater than 30 and use standard wall functions with k-e model. Other with y+<1 and using enhanced wall treatment with k-e or sst-kw. However, to validate my results i guess i have to compare them with XFOIL because i cant find any experimental work at Re=10^6. Thus, with a very fine mesh i get closer values for Cd comparing to xfoil but larger for cl. With standard wall function mesh the opposite happens. I am using enough boundary layers to capture the BL entirely. I dont know what the problem is. Could you tell me please if both Cl and Cd have to be close to XFOIL prediction to say that my simulation is ok ?
