Droplet Generation
 
Hi

Just wonderin if any1 has a step by step method for introducing immiscable oil droplets into a fluid flow.

Hi Nic i have similar problem. perhaps using multiphases flow modeling (vof)is a good idea . regards amir

Hi

First you need tou enable VOF model.remember to initialize at the beginning. Then you need to specify the 2 phases you have. Make sure you have both materials in the material panel. After that you need to go Adapt-->region. You will specify the dimmensions of the droplet and the position inside the domain and then you will click mark. After that you will go to initialize--->patch. You will see in the panel down and left a new zone click on this zone and then patch the second phase.
