Modify length scale definition for DES

Hi,

I am working with the DES model and have the following question. Does anybody have an idea whether it is possible to modify the standard definition of the length scale

d_overbar=min(d, C_DES x D) where D is the largest grid spacing

into a new one

d_overbar=min(d, PSI x C_DES x D) where PSI is an algebraic function of the turbulent viscosity ratio.
