how to define the boundary of a liquid drop
hi, all:
I want to model the contour of a oil drop in water under a shear in FLUENT, But how can I define the boundary of the drop? Do I have to draw the contour of the drop in GAMBIT or use UDF? I am appreciated for any advice. Thanks Chun |
Re: how to define the boundary of a liquid drop
there are two ways to model this in fluent. You can you either the euler-euler approach or the euler-lagrange approach. For the present problem the second one will be better since you have a single oil drop.
Create the geometry of the drop and while defining the materials define the drop properties. |

Thanks a lot
