Convergence in supersonic flow?

Does anyone know the criterion for convergence in a supersonic impingement jet?
Is it the first time that the mass flux reaches close to zero? Since it is axisymmetric, my Cl is always zero. My Cd changes. Do the mach contours extend very close to the surface pf the plate? I do not have any experimental data. For the 2d case, my jet spread was very large, but for axisymmetric my jet spread is not very large at all. I do not know what data I should trust. PLEASE HELP! -Manish PS. If you have done this simulation, maybe you can give me some pointers on what to look out for. thanks. |
