Default Fail in simulate 2D clocking of turbine

Hello everyone,

I use fluent 6 simulate three blade rows of turbine cascades. I first obtain a converged steady solution with mixing plane method, and this is taken as initial flowfield for time-accurate calculations with moving mesh selected. However, when I do this, the iteration process often stops as the downstream periodotic boundary of one blade nearly aligned with the upstream periodic boundary of next blade. At this moment, I run "Check" menu of Grid. There comes an unconventional message"Deleting Zone periodic-39(not referenced by grid)". I consulted with the service of Fluent in our country, but they say they also often encounter this problem, and they always overcome it by regenerate grid. I also regenerate grid for several times, but no use.

Who can resolve this problem? Is it the intrisic problem of Fluent?

Thanks for your attention.

Jim
