help!!natural convection particle tracks

hi everyone, im trying to model particle tracks in natural convection device. used boussinesq aprox to solve.water is contained inside the box and is subject to a temperature gradient. geometry is 80mm long by 40 high.90 degrees is applied to the left side and 50 to the right. top and bottom walls assumed adiabatic. the solution converges however when i insert a particle through injection, no matter where its injected from it doesnt seem to do a full circle as the solution indicates. It only does a half cirle.i injected the oil-fuel material. Has anybody any knowledge in this area?????is it possible to do this???Would greatly appreciate any help!! Thanks

Are you using DPM, or just using the post-processing function? If the latter, you need to increase the time for the particle path to be tracked in the definitions panel.

Im using DPM......i increased the specified length scale and it now seems to track the paticle fully. i hope this is the correct way to solve my problem??
