postprocessing problem

hi,all.

when a species transport equation is finished,i want know the contours of velocity in a plane of 30 degrees inclination angle from the horizontal .How to define the inclination plane ? Thanks.

Re: postprocessing problem

Make sure to set your axis for the Fluid (Define->Boundary Conditions->Fluid... set the location and direction of the axis so that the axis is the axis of rotation of the plane that you want). Then create an isosurface (Surface->Iso-Surface) of constant Grid -> Angular Location and set it to 30degrees. Remember that 30degrees is based on the right-hand rule for the axis you defined for the fluid.

Changing the axis doesn't change any of the flow solution, because the flow was solved in cartesian coordinates. This axis is used for post-processing.

Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason
