Water vortex Simulation in cylinder

Hello friends, i am currently taking my final year project in university. My title is very much related to vortex powerplant, therefore, i hope that someone can atleast tell me where do i find tutorials that enable me to simulate a vortex inside a cylinder tank. Thank you.
