coupled wall problem

I use Fluent 5.3. My geometry consists of a non axisymmetric cylinder with a main axis along the z axis, where also the full gravity is acting. The cylinder ist divided in height into two parts with a wall at half height. This wall is modeled as a coupled wall. In the lower und in the upper cylinder there is a velocity in- and outlet. The lower cylinder ist heated from below. I expect a heat flow over the coupled wall (steel) from the lower to the upper volume, but this does not work. Can anyone give me a hint where i can have probably the problem?

Thanks Gerhard

Re: coupled wall problem

Check your GAMBIT file to see if there are two faces at the intersection that need to be merged. If you named your interface wall and need to do a merge, a two-sided wall named "Wall" should show up in FLUENT.
