Two-phase-liquid film-VOF

I have some starting problems using the VOF model in Fluent 6.2.16. The case is a 2D two-phase diffuser flow. The liquid film will be modeled with the VOF model and the dispersed phase will be modeled with the Euler-Lagrange approach. My problem is related to defining Boundary Conditions for the individual phase. There are two inlet boundaries, one small close to the wall for the film flow and a second in the middle for the air flow. As I choose Define..Boundary Conditions I am able to choose a phase for a Zone. I define the first phase for the specified inlet zone. As I choose the second phase for the other inlet zone, the first one changes. Is someone capable to help me?

I am student and want to use VOF modle for thin layer of water that warm from below( marangoni- benard convection ) my qustion: 1- i want to see hexagonal cells in thin layer of water, when i select steady state botton after iteration, when i see my answer, there arent any phase , and all water convert to vapor, how can i do?
2- if it possible , send for me an example near to this situation, thank. |
