hi there i tried to generate the required pdf file of the fuel(LSHSD) for non premixed combution model of my combustor. the max temp it is showing is 5500k which seems to be absurd . i am following the guide lines of the help files on coal combustion, ie equilibrium model , beta solver etc.(basically i am using the default vales). the species are C,H,S,O2,N2,CO2,CO,C,O,H2O,HO,SO2. C=.353 H=.646 S=7.4e-04. so the final analysis in fluent is giving an exit temp of 4400k . more over is it necesarry to model the swirler the igniter for the GT combudtion chamber. could any one kindly tell what could the problem be. thank u.

hello!
try to use firstly adiabatic case unser prepdf, note the peak temp and the coreponding mixture fraction, then run the non adiabatic case, you can see details on the tutorial"modeling non premixed combustion" of the fluent 6.0 A+ |
