Discrete Phase Simulations

Hello

I would like to know more about discrete phase simulations in Fluent. Is it possible to have a varying inlet diameter of the injected liquid ?

I am also interested in Number density simulations. I request some literature on the same.

Thanks

I guess so.

"...Number density simulations. I request some literature on the same..."

Could you clarify what you mean by that? Do you want to account for size distributions/discrete phase breakage and coalescence etc. ?

Hi there

Thanks for the reply. I would like to knw how i cud change the inlet droplet injection diameter at everytime step. Could you help me with any reference or any UDF example that I could use ? As far as number density, you are rite ..its abt size distribution/discrete phase (classes) conservation etc. Could you highlight more on it.

Thanks for your extremely valuable help.
