kill-fluent warning

hello there,

i'm running fluent on windows 2000. it keeps crashing (particularly when i display images) and then leaves an icon on the desktop called 'kill fluent'. does anyone know what this is? do i have to run this programme???

thank you in advance, gh.

Re: kill-fluent warning

The kill script is typically created in the Beta versions of Fluent in Windows. In *nix systems it is a fairly common routine and it is created in ~/ for each instance of Fluent that is started.

Executing the kill-fluent-pid script will cause the fluent process associated with the script to be killed instantly and following that, the kill script file will be deleted as well.

No, you do not need to run this "programme". You can safely delete it if you want to. Please check your display adapter driver and see if you can get around the problem by tweaking the hardware acceleration setting for video.
