Hi, I am simulating flow through packed bed. I want to study the tracer flow (water) in the packed bed by using species transport. Do anyone know can I add tracer at the velocity inlet in Fluent? Many thanks.

You can "abuse" the DPM Model for tracking your fluid. Use some fine size inert particles (about 10 micron) as tracer.

good luck

I think it's a simple way to use species transport without reaction model of FLUENT directly.
