hello, I am simulating flow and heat transfer in a 2 turn helical coil using k-e model with Inlet velocity is 0.8 m/s and diameter is 20mm while pipe coil diameter is 200 mm.the velocity BC is on inlet with 4% turbulence intensity and 0.006 hydraulic diameter. Pressure BC is imposed on outlet with 4% turbulence intensity. i m facing the problem regarding higher value of turbulent intensity . the range mentioned is 0.0124 to 0.134 bt the value lies exactly at 0.134 which is higher. kindly give some suggestions.
