Default transport of UDS

Hi, i make a gaz/liquid simulation with the Euler/Euler approach. I put a UDS on the liquid phase and after a fiew time steps, i can see that my scalar is convected in my domain and has a constant value equals to the one that i put in my boundary condition. I don't understand why the volume fraction of the liquid phase which is in the transport equation of my scalar doesn't influence the value of my scalar. Is there anyone who had this trouble? Thanks.
