Specifying turbulent intensity

hi I'm simulating turbulent flow in a rectangular channel with a circular inlet. Physically, the circular inlet allows connection to a pipe/tube.
The fluid is conveyed either by a positive displacement screw pump or a diaphragm pump. My question is, what turbulent intensity and length scale shoud I specify? |

I think it's appropriate to use Intensity and Hydraulic diameter option to specify turbulence boundary quantities. You know the hydraulic dia. and turbulent intensity is roughly equal to 4 for Reynolds number of 50000. Regards, -US

Thanks. Is there a relation between inentsity and Re? My Re ranges from laminar to 12,000.
