Hi, I am simulating Multipahse Stirred Vessel using fluent6.x. I have not explicitly created sparger in the geometry to sparg gas so i want to specify gas input as a source term.I know how to do it in fluent 4.4 but not sure how to specify in fluent 6.x. I would appreciate if some one could help me out in this regard.

you need to define the cell for sparger as a different zone using gambit. Then in the boundary conditions for that zone you can define a mass and momentum source

have a look at section 7.28 in fluent help files
