Controlled Meshing with GAMBIT
hi i have some complicated geometry or lets say any complicated geometry. How can i generate a mesh of my choice i mean like coarsen and fine in my desired places. Any suggestions plz. GAMBIT just give TGRID when a complicated volume is selected fr meshing.
Thanks in advance |
Re: Controlled Meshing with GAMBIT
dear Masood it is very easy to controlled the grid spacing in Gambit: from Mesh --> edge select an edge by shift+click then from type select suucessive ratio say 1.2 in the part of spacing select interval count u will see the effect of that at once. for more detail contact me at omrkhairy75@yahoo.com or refer to Gambit help to read about Meshing
have a good luck Khairy _Egypt |
Re: Controlled Meshing with GAMBIT
That works well for 2D and 3D structured meshes, or 2D unstructured meshes. For 3D unstructured meshes, I highly recommend using sizing functions.
Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason |
