Default Uniting faces in Gambit

Hi,

I have a complex geometry that I imported from Pro-e to Gambit, this geometry came with several faces and I want to simplify them by uniting them because it will be easier for me to specify the boundary conditions for less faces. How can I unite these faces to form one face? these faces are not intersecting with each other, they just share one boundary, is like having a fence formed by sticks and what I want to do is join all the sticks to form a simple face.

thanks

I think you don't need to unite these faces. You can define one boundary zone, that contains all the faces.

You can use the "merge faces" command, but it will turn them into a virtual face, which is generally not raccomandable. Dirk's suggestion is still the best. If you can, try to simplify your CAD model.

Edi.
