I have been trying to iterate my system for a while but everytime i hit on iterate, the problem floating point error and reversed flow always occur. I have changed from one method to others. none of them worked out. BTW, my system is a venturi which two inlet and one outlet. i am dealing with two phase system which one inlet is for water and another one is for air flow. Have u all had the same problem with me? COuld u share with me how to tackle it?

Thank you

Lots of factors need to be considered. Are you feeding the right velocities? Did you check your grid? Can you list all models you are using?

My model : 3-D, segregated, 2-Phase flow, Mixture, steady, k-e model. I was trying to decrease the relaxation factor but apparently it didn't work out that way. Do you have any suggestion or advise for my system? It always shows either

Error: Floating point error: invalid number

Error Object: ()

or reversed flow.

What are the superficial velocities of both phases?

I put the superficial velocity data for the initial data. THe air inlet superficial velocity is about 3.2724 m/s and the liquid superficial velocity is about 0.482 m/s. SInce i have the system under gravity, i put gravity acceleration -9.81 m/s2 in define menu. Another thing i encounter right now is when i am running the fluent, something says"turbulent viscosity limited to viscosity ratio of 1.0000e5" COuld you tell me what that means? Thank you in advance. I really appreciate of your help
