Hi,
I would like to generate a boundary layer on a cylinder inside a 3D geometry. In this way I can reduce the number of grids. However, I was unable to generate the boundary layer. Can anyone suggest ? Thanks, Sanjib |

Dear Sanjib:
You can split the heading circle into for curves at 45 degree. Then change these vertex types to END. THen split the curves on the top and bottom at +90 and -90.Now you have 6 curves. grade the four edges in the top and botom to achive finer mesh at corners. Now you can mesh these circle using map scheme. and then mesh the cylinder using cooper scheme. REgards |
