Is it possible in Fluent to seed a new flow simulation with results (.dat or other) from a previous calculation? If so, how is this accomplished? I am running unsteady-RANS multi-processor simulation.
thx. |

You can interpolate the data.
In the previous solution go to file->interpolate, and write the data to a *.ip file. Then in your new model, set up your model (solver settings, turbulence models, etc) and then go back to file->interpolate and read the *.ip file. Jason |
