Hi, everyone! When I read msh file in Fluent, some error: 1) error:access:unbound variable;

2) error Object: phase-domain? The mesh is ok. But such errors... are very serious? When I do the mesh in Gambit everithink is ok. Thanks for any suggestions

Maybe you have used the underscore (for example velocity_1) in your boundaries names???This could be the reason of the first error message.Regards,

Hi,

For your second error, if you have several area under Gambit, that is your boundary are not complete between your different area/domain. it is possible that you don't have select all the lines between the different surfaces of your geometry.

I hope that this will be able you help.

I checked all lines between surfaces but everything ok nevertheless. If I read at Fluent whith such errors and then check grid and chacking without errors, can I work at the Fluen? Or I must to correct something at Gambit?

Thanks in advanced.

hi,

It is not a problem of your grid. your mesh is OK. You can check yourself with the menu display->grid

In this menu, you can see all of your geometry. if you deselect all and after you select only one surface and you display.

you do this manual check for all your surfaces and if you see a problem for one. you can rectificate it in Gambit. normally, it is only a problem when you define your "Specify Boundary Types" in the menu "Operation->Zones". it is possible you forgot some "Entity". (faces, edges or groups).

I hope that will be able to help you if not you will always be able to mail me.

sam.
