Fan Modeling

Hi, I need to select a fan for particular model. I have specified constant pressure jump at the fan face and got the computed mass flow values through fluent. The curve seems to be increasing flow with increasing pressure ratio. But the manufacturer's specification gives pressure jump vs flow rate, which seems to be increased flow rate with decreased pressure. Any idea how do I convert my data to manufacturer's type of data? Regards.

Shraman, I dont have a solution for this but infact I have the same problem. I specified a constant pressure rise across a fan face and the velocities are higher, which means, if the area across the fan face is constant then the flow rate is higher due to high velocities. However, when I look at the manufacturer specified fan curves, at lower flow rates the pressure is higher. If you are able to come across a solution to this, please let me know why this happens. Regards, Nish
