Hi,All I am using FLUENT Fuel Cell Toolbox to model a single PEM fuel cell stack. When I tried to initialize the model, I got the following error messages. Error: prf-set-var: invalid flonum Error Object: nan

Anyone knows how to solve the problem? Does that mean that I didn't specify all the required material properties correctly? I am desperate. Please help!

I have the same problem when I modified a case in fluent 13.0 and tried to read it in Fluent 12.1.4. I checked the case file is good by opening it in Fluent 13 multiple times. But with Fluent 12.1.4, it gives the same error message:
"Error: %prf-set-var: invalid flonum"

Any clue whats going on?

Thanks.

Hi guys,
Did anyone fix this fluent bug?
I'm running a simulation on Ansys 13 of an internal combustion engine and when I try to load the .cas and .dat files saved every 15 time step, this error message appears.

Thanks in advance.
All the best.
Rob.

Probably because of the different version of Fluent.

I too have the same problem.

I just considered the cylinder and given inlet velocity at one side and outlet pressure at the other side.
1. defined the surfaces as the temperature body
2. inlet air velocity 8 m/s.
3. trying to find the cooling response of the system.

In cell zone BC
when I define cylinder as fluid then there was no error, but I defined it as solid the error was showing as below

Error - %prf-set-var: invalid flonum
Error object - 1.£ inf

Kindly anyone suggest what is the problem.

Thanks in advance.
