Hello, I am trying to model combustion of solid fuel with pdf model. The problem is that combustion doesn't start since fuel and air are cold (310K). How can I start combustion calculation? Thanks Bye Silvia

You have to patch a high temperature region somewhere in the domain.

I tried to patch a high temperature region in the domain : the combustion started and then extinguished itself after some iterations (% char conversion decreases). What does it mean? Thanks for your help Silvia
