Why do the grids change their shape in FLUENT

Hi everyone

I generate hexahedron grids using the map scheme in GAMBIT. When the .msh file is read into the FLUENT, some edges of the grids are in disorder. I refine the grid in GAMBIT for several times, but it does not work.

Does anybody know the reason for the phenomenon? Any suggestion will be appreciate. Thanks a lot.

does it affect the calculation in fluent?

Thank you for considering my question. Yes, it is. In the domain where the grid has changed the shapeŁ¬the velocity victor is in disorder , the turbulence viscosity is sometimes difficult to converge. Especially, when displaying the grid of a plane to my boss, he is not satisfied. I am looking forward to any help.

so the improvement of the mesh in that domain is needed. i have no idea that how to do this. maybe the method of making the geometry and meshing should be changed. hope someone can help you.

i think u might mesh with other grid-generation software, such as gridgen or icem cfd ,and so on

Thank you Unfortunately, I have the only one grid-generation software of GAMBIT.
