I am having problems in parallel processing in that i cannot spawn nodes on other machines.

I can ping other machines, fluent recognises other computers IP adresses. I am using rshd for communication. Fluent.Inc directory is shared.

Looking forward to hear from you

Try the following address for instructions:

www.FLUENT.com/support/installation/winfaq/mpich.htm

Also, the following link is a brief Q&A:

http://www.fluent.com/about/news/new...pdfs/nl417.pdf

I recommend the MPI versus the RSHD. I was not able to get the RSHD to work. The MPI worked first time.

Hope this helps.
