Turbulent viscosity ration, Virtual mass
Hi,
I frequently encounter turbulent viscosity error followed by numerical divergence in my problem set up when virtual mass force is considered. The same case runs sucessfully when the virtual mass force is not taken into account. Does any one encounter similar difficulty when virtual mass is solved for? I would appreciate if any one would like to share his/her experience on virtual mass. Just to make the situation transparent I am modelling upward bubbly flows (G-L) in vertical pipes. Thanks in advance. KP |
I too have same problem, I am also modelling co-current air-water flow in a pipe.
