COUPLING BOUNDARY CONDITIONS UNDER WINDOWS

I work in Fluent 6.0 under WinXP. I would like to couple between two models of heat flow which are solved simoutanously in the same time by means of writing and reading temperature boundary profile files between each other. One model reads the boundary temperature profile from the other and vice versa. Therefore i defined execute command macro describing writing the data file every iteration but it failed immediately after 2nd iteration starts due to the woindows alert message: 'File already exist. Overwrite?' and the process terminates. Can anyone help me how to settle coupling between 2 models by sharing data file under WINDOWS? Is there another way to couple then execute command macros?

Can you tell me your problem clearly.

In fluent one option is there. You can disable the overwriting message. So, directly without giving message it will overwrite the file.

But I did not understand your problem clearly. So, can you tell me your problem clearly Bye Venu

Re: COUPLING BOUNDARY CONDITIONS UNDER WINDOWS

It is a general model of glass meltiung furnace which in the CFD point of wiev consist of two parts of completely different flow properties.

A) COMBUSTION AREA (top half of the furnace)- unpremixed combustion with heavy turbulenz flow B) MELTING TANK (bottom part of the furnace)- laminar flow of glass melt.

I need to couple this two separated models by sending data of temperature field on the interface which is the bottom wall of the A and top wall of the B.

How can i disable dhe overwrite function in Fluent when new data file is generated?

I dont know exactly where it is, but there is one text command to overwrite enable/disable and to avoid the warning msgs.
