contour display, some black points

dear all,

It is very strange when I display the contour for vel, and pressure, I found that there are a few black dot inside the contour. The resutls were converged. What should be the problem? I use the unstructure mesh. Is these because of my mesh generation?

thanks in advance

hi!

Someone told me, that is a typical problem of Fluent Graphics. No way to correct them :(

Yeah, this is a common problem with Fluent. I have access to several different computers, so sometimes switching computers helps (from a Sun Machine to an HP for exampe). Also, there are display options you can play around with. Double Buffering sometimes helps in 2D models. In 3D, try using the "Painters" under Hidden Surface Method. Warning though... this is a VERY slow renderer... I recommend leaving it at Hardware Z-Buffer until you find the image you want, and then switch it to Painters.

Hope this helps, ang good luck, Jason
