hi i am doing internal flow through of intake of turbocharge engine of 0.6 mach speed to calculate force on wall at bend.i am using coupled solver with 1 CFL no and inviscid flow.the soltion is not converging at high spped flow .can anybody tell me what i should do nabeel

At first sight: decrease your CFL (at least at startup). By the way: is the solver explicit or implicit?

Cheers

Edi.

why inviscid flow for an internal calculation? Why coupled solver? Did the segregated solver mess up?

anyway, good luck,

hi, coupled solver is used because seed is 180m/s and implict is being used i reduced CFL 0.001 to 1 but not converged second question answer flow is high speed so inviscid is used and 1 equation model is preferred. my target is to calaculate the pressure force on a area at bend of turbo jet waiting for your response

Have you tried to simulate using the segregated solver and a high Re turbulence model yet?

hi i have used segregated solver but with momentum power law solution controls and simplec pressure velocity coupling but not have good result i used 1 equation because of high speed flow any suggestion nabeel
