Cooper algorithm

What I have to regard, if I use the Cooper algorithm. What means the option SOURCES. Which faces I have to choose. Why the cooper algorithm is better than a standard unstructured grid ???

thanks

cheers Gernot

Re: Cooper algorithm

hi Gernot cooper scheme. as i use it is good for similar cross sections or where projected x-sections are equal. source face is the one which is copied along the direction of axis for let suppose a pipe. it is good in a sense that is is easy to contraol mesh density. as first we have to mesh a crossection then use it as source and copy the mesh all the way to the other face (! the other face across the meshed face also selected as source face). for more detail see documentation of FLUENT . it is defined with pictorial examples.
