Cd value for square cylinder

Default Cd value for square cylinder

hello ppl

please help me....for a square cylinder(2D) the drag coefficient value comes to 2.1 . In the figure given below if i increase "L" and keep the "D" constant what will happen to the Cd value???? this is a 2D case.

---------- and one more thing.....for a flat plate normal to the flow if i increase the height of the plate i.e.

if i increase "L" will Cd value change??? Cd value for flat plate is 2.0, if i'm not wrong.....

any help is highly appreciated..
