combustion modeling

Hi friends, any one can tell me In combustion modeling how would we find the height of the flame? and What's the meaning of 'divergence detected in AMG solver :temperature' and what's its reason?

hi, when there is a message of divergence detected in temperature the reaspns can be : - an error of the definition of boundary condition, which is the most probable reason. You should check the boundary condition. - a not well defined mesh, you should use a finer mesh - a problem of density law.what kind of density law are you using?

Hi antonietta Thanks for your reply,I use incompressible ideal gas B.C, and when I use a finer mesh this message of divergence didn't detected.

well, so you have solved your problem.I have had the same problem and it was due to the mesh too. good luck anto
