modelling two phase in fluent

I want to model the surface of water heated in a container. For this I need to take the water-air interface into account. Please suggest any two phase model method.

hi sumeet ,
do you want to model water evaporation ? if so , I think you have to use vof model with 2 phases air + water ... could you please expalin more your physical model ?, |

I have to model the free surface of water in a square cavity whose left and right walls are maintained at fixed temperatures , bottom wall is insulated and the top surface is exposed to atmosphere. Basically I have to ensure that the surface generated is such that the pressure is constant over it. Can you also explain the procedure to use the correct model?

The whole problem is under steady and lamionar assumption and I am using Boussinesq model for convection. If you have a better method then pls suggest

use VOF model with geo re-construct scheme, divide the domain with sepearte face for air-inlet n water-inlet. an example is given in fluent tuts, u can go through it. regards sulfi
