Gambit meshing

Hello! Is it possible to connect two volumes using hex map, where one of the volumes is a cilinder and the other rectangle.

Thank,you

Dear Bodgan:

Yes it is possible. You can create, mesh and save these two volumes separately as .msh files. Then use tmerge utility to connect them. tmerge utility is in the adress c:\fluent.inc\untility\tmerge2.1\ntx86\...

you can use 2D and 3D versions based on your model. First input the smaller mesh file name and then the second. tmerge creates one mesh file with connected volume.
