AMG Solver
I am studying on a 3D jet in crossflow. after some iteration I have got the "Divergence detected in AMG Solver:TEMPERATURE" and then the iteration stop.
Do you know why it could be? |
Re: AMG Solver
Try reducing the under relaxation factor for energy in the solution control panel and run the iteration.

Re: AMG Solver
AMG solver divergence is detected due to the following reasons:
1.> If u are making use of UDM's in UDF and not allocated memory for the problem setup then u will land up with this error message 2.> Due to the underelaxation parameter beign too stringent as some one earlier pointed out 3.>It also comes up if u have closure terms not properly formulated. what momentum interaction terms are you using? I hope this atleat provides some info. to start with. |
Re: AMG Solver
hi aother reason for AMG is for high Dense messing and also increase the temperature limits in define operating condition

AMG Solver
Hello all,
I am working on 3D, ROTATING/ SWIRL flow inside the pipe problem. Flow is compressible and turbulent. I started with Segregated and Implicit solver with under-relaxation factor for energy equation equal to 1. I am using RSM as a turbulence model. But after some iteration I have got the "Divergence detected in AMG Solver:TEMPERATURE" and then the iteration stop. Please help. Thanks in advance, best wishes, Sachin Nimbalkar |
