Default how to define vertical stress of free surface?

hi!When high power laser beams irradiate a metal surface,melting and evaporation process will be simulated using FLUENT.the evaporation stress is perpendicular to gas-liquid interface which is a free surface.please tell me how to define the vertical stress in FLUENT? THANKS!
