radiation model

Hi! I want to consider radiation exchange between flue gases(mainly CO2 and H2O) and a bundle of tube placed in the furnace for carbon combustion. What kind of radiation model I have to use? Thanks in advance Bye

Re: radiation model

Hi,

I think CO2 and H2O is optically thick. So the Discrete Ordinates model and P1 model will be appropriate radiation model. At first step, the P1 model is good it's easy to calculate. If your calculation is to be need more accuracy, then change into Discrete Ordinates model.
