[Q] Solving UDS with physical velocity

I'm currently solving UDS equations with physical velocity provided by solver.
According to the FLUENT manual, general transport equation for porous media with porosity(eps in the below equation) in this case is, div[eps*rho*u*phi]=div[eps*(scalar_diffusiv)*grad(phi)]+eps*S (for steady-state) What I'm confused is, whether porosity(eps) in UDS equation automatically becomes effective or not by the solver when "physical velocity" is turned on in the solver panel. To be more specific, for example, should the value "eps" be included in UDS scalar diffusivity or not? |
